The day started out so well with a most beautiful sunrise. Despite the cold morning air I rushed out near naked to get a photo at its best. With sunrises they reach a peak of beauty and then quickly fade into a washed out brightness. I think I got this one just in time.
Once again the steroids seem to be starting to bring me back to life but my throat is still swollen enough that I am again on the liquid diet. The lung infection should respond well to the antibiotic and the hospital will follow that closely with more x-rays.
On the way to the radiation session we stopped in for a brief visit with Cheryl's Uncle Claude who lives alone in Blackburn Hamlet. He will be spending Christmas with us as usual as well as with cousin Andrea. It was an easy afternoon and I got through some of the mounting up paperwork.
We are both tired so it will be an early night. Cheryl might sleep downstairs tonight because since my surgery and my throat changes, I make strange sounds during sleep similar to an Alien. If you watched the movie, even Sigourney Weaver couldn't handle that.
